AbExArt specializes in Modern and Post-War fine art. Abstract Expressionism, known as the New York School, was the first specifically American art movement to achieve global icon status. Abstract Expressionism was centered in New York and the movement developed in the 1940s and 1950s. The New York roster of avant-garde artists were members of “The Club” located at 39 East 8th Street where they met regularly to collaborate and exchange ideas.
We source and curate AbEx paintings, sculptures, and drawings that have an abundance of historical significance with unique investment potential. AbExArt also focuses on an array of important modern and contemporary artists which appear to have been strongly influenced by Abstract Expressionism. AbExArt has decades of experience with Female AbEx artists, the work of Harry Bertoia, and AbEx sculpture.
Our selected artworks have stood the test of time since Post-War, being exhibited in Stable Gallery, Dilexi Gallery, Grace Borgenicht Gallery, Kootz Gallery, Betty Parsons Gallery, Staempfli Gallery, Whitney Museum, MoMA, Guggenheim, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. AbExArt continues to be an important resource for collectors, galleries, curators, museums, auction houses, and foundations.
Together, we can explore and enjoy a world of abstract art that continues to inspire and enrich our lives. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing our deep passions and knowledge in AbExArt.
